IslandWood is happy to provide transportation between Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal and IslandWood for the 3:45/4:40 & 9:45/10:40 sailings.

Complimentary valet service near Seattle Ferry Terminal for walk-on passengers.

3:45 PM Ferry leaves Seattle for campus tour/early (overnight) check-in

4:40 PM Ferry leaves Seattle

5:30 PM Arrive at IslandWood for Dinner In The Woods

9:15 PM Depart for 9:45 ferry or stay for campfire and overnight lodging

10:10 PM Depart for 10:40 ferry (next sailing at midnight, no transportation available)

Accommodations at IslandWood

Lodging at IslandWood includes four comfortable, Northwest-style lodges. The lodge guest rooms are a combination of single and double occupancy rooms, as well as bunk rooms that can accommodate up to 6 guests. All guest rooms have a private bathroom. Each lodge features a spacious log-beam great room complete with rustic artisan furniture, stone fireplaces and cozy seating areas. In addition, each lodge features a guest closet with laundry facilities and a small refrigerator is available in each great room. Wireless internet service is available throughout our campus. For Families with Small Children

There is no charge for children under 3 years of age and under. Because we are a facility that caters primarily to school-age children, we are not equipped with items for small children such as cribs or pack-n-plays, safety seats, booster seats, etc. Please bring these items with you to make your child’s stay here more comfortable.

Breakfast

Breakfast includes Islandwood granola, organic yogurt, oatmeal, seasonal fruit, pastries, toast with local jams and coffee, tea & juice. Hot breakfast items will be available from 8:00am-9:00am.

Guest Arrival and Departure

IslandWood is open for guest arrivals on Saturday between 4:30pm-6:00pm. Overnight guests can pick up their room keys during this registration time. Please remember that lodge check-out is at 9:30am on Sunday.

Gate Code - Important! Please Read

IslandWood has an entrance gate that will be open untill11pm Saturday, 7am-12pm on Sunday. A code is required to open it after hours. The gate code for Dinner In The Woods is #3489 (#DITW) for the duration of your stay at IslandWood. PLEASE NOTE: When arranging for outside transportation (for instance, a taxi), you must provide them with the gate code; otherwise, they may be unable to enter the premises.
